SOC Week 6

Well, here it is the final week of SOC Challenge.

The colours chosen for week six are Raspberry, Tangerine and a Pop, Splash or Smudge of Lemon.
They are lovely and very summery colours, so I decided to do my August Art Calendar page.

I began by brayering yellow paint onto A3 card followed by a lighter yellow around the edges.

Stamping was added using paint to stamp with.
The sentence was stamped in raspberry archival ink. The beach huts and bits were stamped on to white paper and coloured using watercolour pencils. then stuck to the page. A black sketch pencil was used to ground the images and smudged in.

I am yet to apply the journaling squares/blocks, usually it takes me some time as I don't' like to cover up all the hard work.

Anyhow,  that's it for me this year, hope you have all enjoyed taking part as much as I have.
Don't forget to pop over to  Twinkle twinkle like a star and check out everyone's entry's.

 Bye for now.

  6. Wow, I wouldn't be able to cover up that awesome art, either. You have a gorgeous calendar, nearly ready for August. You are truly ahead of the game, and did it in a very colorful way. I'm sad to see the end of SOC, but I've enjoyed seeing what you created each week.
